Dorset beginners paragliding and paramotoring course
Introduction
Dorset is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK with rolling hills, the Jurassic coastline and beautiful villages dotted all around. Only a couple of hours from London and an hour from Bristol makes it an easy destination. This course is the BHPA EP course and the perfect introduction to paragliding and paramotoring
The Flying
We are so lucky to have such a wide range of flying sites in Dorset with beautiful costal bowls, inland ridges and options for all wind directions.
The landing fields tend to be big and very straight forward although most of our sites have good top landing options.
We often see deer on the hillsides while flying and our flights even take us over iron age hill top fortresses.
The EP (Elementary Pilot) course is the beginners introduction course and by the end of it, you will have made a number of flights and will have developed a good level of glider control. This course is the precursor to the Club Pilot for both the paragliding and paramotoring full qualification course.
Accomodation
We don’t offer accommodation but are happy to make recommendations
Suitability
- This trip is suitable for beginner level pilots
Cost
The cost for the 5 days is £790 but…
Unlike other courses you will only pay for what you do. You will have to pay a £100 deposit to secure your place and then you will simply pay based on what you do which means that you’ll pay £158 per day (or £79 for half a day). If we have a day that is unsuitable due to the weather you won’t pay anything. Included in the cost is use of the latest generation equipment but doesn’t include BHPA membership (required).
